Gaston Zvi Ickowicz was Born in Buenos Aires in 1974, and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1980. Ickowicz graduated with honours from the Musrara School of Photography in 2000. He teaches in the photography departments in several Israei art schools and in 2008 graduated the Advanced Studies of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. His photographs have been exhibited at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, The Israel Museum in Jerusalem and the Haifa Museum of Art, and have been included in numerous exhibitions in Israel and abroad. Ickowicz's works center upon landscapes, human portraits and the interaction between them in the context of social and political issues. Ickowicz lives and works in Tel-Aviv, and is represented by Chelouche Gallery Tel Aviv.
