Gaston Zvi Ickowicz was born in Buenos Aires in 1974, and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1980. Ickowicz graduated with honours from the Musrara School of Photography in 2000. His photographs have been exhibited at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, The Israel Museum in Jerusalem and the Haifa Museum of Art, and have been included in numerous exhibitions in Israel and abroad. Ickowicz's works center upon landscapes, human portraits and the interaction between them in the context of social and political issues. He teaches in the photography departments of several Israeli art schools, and is a graduate of the Advanced Studies of the Bezalel Academy of art and Design. Ickowicz lives and works in Tel-Aviv, and represented by Chelouche Gallery Tel Aviv.
